Sheridan is a city located in Yamhill County, Oregon. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 3,570. It was named in honor of the Civil War general Philip Henry Sheridan. Sheridan was posted to Yamhill County in the latter half of the 1850's. (More Info and Source)
